In September, Teri and I headed down to my parent's new home in Silver Lakes California, a community within Helendale. We were fortunate to have our good friends Mike & Donna join us. Mike used to be my next door neighbor here in Tacoma, but moved to California a couple years ago for a new job. The first few days, we spent drinking and playing golf. I personally had a blast! Thanks Pepe for coming down, we PROMISE we'll make it down to see you in '05! After Mike & Donna left, we hung out with the folks for a couple more days before we headed towards Arizona. The folks went one way and we went another through the Grand Canyon. Teri had never been there, so I thought since we were close, we may as well visit. I think she was adequately impressed. From there, we spent a night in Sedona before meeting up with the folks again in Scottsdale. We had a family reunion to attend in Surprise later in the week, but mostly we spent the time just enjoying the sun and the pool! I'd love to have a condo in Scottsdale to visit a few times a year to play golf and of course catch some Mariners Spring training in Peoria too.
