Feelin' Good!

Well, it's official, I've made it a full week of working out. I went last Friday, Monday, Wednesday and Today of this week. I'm feeling pretty good about my progress thus far. I'm still a lot weaker than I would expect someone my size to be. But I suppose it'll all come with time. Today's workout was basically a repeat of last Friday's the only change being that some of the weights were increased a bit and the cardio workout changed from the stairmaster to the treadmill. I'm thankful for the change up in cardio. I'm supposed to go hiking with the Boyz on Sunday and I would have been screwed had I done the stairmaster today! :-) The Men's Health personal trainer program seems to be working out OK for me. It's keeping me interested. I rather enjoy getting on the computer the night before, or the morning of a workout and printing out my liltte sheet that shows what I'm supposed to be doing. I can feel the workout from this morning already. I got up at 6:30 and was in the gym by 7. I got through the weight portion pretty quickly because I wasn't having to consult my sheet and trying to figure out how to do all the exercises. Then on to the treadmill and I was walking out of the gym before 8:30. I had to run to the office and pick up some stuff and while I was there, at about 8:45, I realized I had to be in Yelm at 10 for a walk through for one of my clients. YIKES! So I hauled ass outta the office (in Puyallup) and got home around 9:15. I took a quick shower, shaved and was out the door by 9:25! I made it to Yelm at 9:55 . . whew!

I was out here until 8:15 last night. I had a couple come through right at 6:00PM while I was getting ready to close up. They had a parent teacher conference to go to but wanted to see the other 3 floor plans we had out here. I offered to stay until 7 to accomodate them. Well, they showed back up at about 7:25. I walked them through the other three models (Thank you dalyight savings time!) and then we headed over to Hawthorne Prairie, our next development and I showed them the lay of the land there. So by the time I got done, it was 8:15 . . . LONG day yesterday. I went home, took a quick bath to relax and was in bed by 10:30.

I talked to our builder yesterday. Looks like we're on schedule for interior paint today and electrical trim out on Monday. Since I didn't get a chance to go by there this morning, I may swing by tonight and see how the paint turned out. Pending how Teri is feeling anyway. She's been awfully sick the last couple of weeks. Now she has bronchitis and maybe even walking pneumonia. EEKS. Poor girl, can't even get out of bed too much without coughing a ton.

Hoping for another blockbuster weekend in Yelm on Saturday! Sunday is the hike to Twin Falls. Hoping to get some more packing done this weekend too. I still can't believe how much crap we have!

Have a good one!

John
