Kids say the darndest things . . .

Today I went out and showed some homes. I looked fantastic! I had my black dress pants on, black shoes, a caramel colored shirt on and a great looking tie. I've been wearing a shirt and tie about 4 - 5 days a week for the past 6 weeks or so. With my new, slimmer me, my dress shirts fit better, the collars button, and overall I feel better about my looks. I feel like I have more confiedence, I feel like I project a more professional attitude, and it just feels right.

While at a model home with my client, her daughters had to use the restroom. They all shuffled off to the restroom, and you could pretty much hear everything they said while in there. Her daughters are 5 and 2 I think. Her 5 year old said "He's fat!" and mom quickly corrected her by saying "Honey, don't say that. We don't say that about people." It completely ruined my mood. Now I know she's only 5. And I know she wasn't being mean. But still, after as far as I feel I've come, it was pretty obvious, I've got a long way to go.

Kids say the darndest things. You're so right Mr. Cosby. They sure do . . .
