Pigged Out . . . but it's OK!So yesterday my wife got a new job! Congratulations honey! I'm proud of you for setting that goal and achieving it! I know you're going to do AWESOME! Last night I took Teri out to dinner to celebrate. I gave her her choice of anywhere she wanted to go and she picked Applebees? So off to Applebees we went. I hadn't had lunch yet and was STARVING when we got there. Again, not good I know. However with my workout yesterday, I felt pretty confident I could eat pretty much anything I liked and be somewhat OK. I started out with a caesar salad, followed by the club house grill sandwich (Ham, turkey, jack and cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomatoe, bbq sauce on grilled sourdough) with onion rings. I topped it all off with one of their new dessert shooters (chocolate mousse). It was GREAT!
This morning, I wanted nothing to do with the gym. In fact, I even went to bed last night at 9PM and slept all the way until about 6:30 . . . up off and on between 5 and 6:30 trying to guilt myself into going to the gym. But I think I needed a day of rest. I was worried about the scale this morning, but stepping on it, I was only 306.5. So only gained 1/2 pound from my low. As I'm skipping the gym today, I've really got to watch what I eat. So I had a bowl of Fiber One cereal for breakfast, I'll have an apple and a zone perfect bar for a snack and a Weight Watcher meal for lunch. Hopefully a sensible meal at home for dinner. Then back in the gym tomorrow morning!
AND today I was able to get into my favorite dress shirt. It's been awhile since I've been able to button the collar and it was a bit of a struggle yet this morning, but it's buttoned and the tie is on! Bring on the buyers!
