Happy Monday . . .

So I got up today at 6:15 and packed my bag for the gym. I was in the gym around 7 AM and did weight training and cardio again. Check my Exercise log for the full details. I was pretty sore all weekend from my Friday workout. But still made it through today's workout without much issue. I took my breakfast to the gym and ate it while I cooled down. That works OK for me and it DOES keep me out of the drive thru for that morning. I weighed myself at the gym. Still no tubs of butter lost. (For the uninitiated, Jerry a buddy of mine calls pounds, tubs of butter) I'm still at 344 pounds. Now this is only my second workout, so I'm not sweating it. And I AM doing weight training too, so I'll be building muscle at the same time and the rate of weight loss won't be nearly as dramatic as it would be if I were only doing cardio workouts. But in the end, it'll all be worth it.

Despite my delcaration of not watching the scale, I re-visited the concept of body fat measuring scales by accident this weekend. Wired magazine had a mini-review of three of the most popular body fat measuring scales. They listed the conair Weight Watchers model as being the most accurate. SO since I'm weight training, I know I'm going to weigh in occasionally and if I don't see some sort of change, I'll get discouraged. So I'm thinking of picking one of these up . . . we'll see.

Saturday was a no sit down day at Yelm. I love those days. They go by so quickly! I also had a couple come in and write up lot 9 out there. That leaves us with 9 homes left out of 49. It looks like I may also be able to list their home in Rainier as well. That will be nice. I haven't had one instance yet where I've gotten to list someone's home while they were purchasing at either Yelm Terra or Pennington. I'm excited for the prospect! Saturday night Teri and I were both pretty wiped out, but we managed to get to Reyna's for some yummy chicken fajitas.

Sunday we got up . . . an hour later than normal . . . oh wait, it was really on time since we "Sprung Forward". :-) We headed to Southcenter to check out a number of furniture places in search of the "perfect" bedroom set. We didn't find it, so we headed back to Seldens and bought the bedroom set we had originally saw. It was more money than I had wanted to spend, but it's the set we wanted. It'll be here in about 6 weeks, which is when we should be moving in anyway. I didn't really want to throw anything on credit before moving into the new home, but with the 12 months same as cash and offering an additional 5% off for repeat clients AND having it delivered when we move in, I just couldn't resist. Teri headed out with Annette for a couple hours and I continued packing the POD. I loaded all the boxes that she had packed last week. Hopefully we'll get the POD finished and out of the driveway this week. Hopefully.

Have a good day everyone.
