Another Two Fer . . . 299.5
Yesterday afternoon I went BACK to the YMCA with Teri. She ran while I did the SMFH and lifted. After our workout last night, I weighed myself (before dinner of course) and I was 300 pounds on the nose. This morning when I woke up, I was back to 301.5. Dinner, etc. had helped out with that. So I headed back to the gym. Since I did two workouts yesterday, I just took it easy with a swim and a soak in the hot tub this morning. When I got back, I was 299.5!! WOO HOO! Under 300 again! And I did it prior to the Tour De Pierce! It really feels good to hit that goal! Now to stay under 300 and hopefully be 295 or less by the 12th of July for the Ocean Shores Triathlon.
Here are my two workouts:
- SMFH (Stair Machine From Hell): 20 minutes Level 7 (my highest yet) on the Fat Burning program
- 3 X 10 @ 135 Lbs Bench Press
- 3 X 10 @ 110 Lbs Lat Pull Down
- 3 X 60 Lbs Triceps Extension
- 3 X 75 Lbs Pectoral Fly
- 3 X 10 “7 Ups” @ 20 Lbs
- 3 Sets of 100 swim, 100 kick, 200 Pull
- 1 X 100 IM
- Total 1,300 yards
I think the lifting has really helped my Butterfly because even after the 1,200 yards this morning, my IM felt REALLY good. There COULD be a 200 IM in my future.
